Keeping Electronics Safe from Battery Swaps
Moulded from ABS in black or grey, these enclosures feature a battery compartment accessed from the outside via a snap-shut cover. The battery compartment physically isolates the batteries from the main PCB, protecting internal electronics from accidental leakage or corrosion and reducing the risk of damage when batteries are changed. Many designs also feature a flush or recessed top surface for membrane keypads and labels, and some ranges offer detachable end plates with the option of infrared (IR) transparent panels.
General Purpose Protection, with IP65 Where It Counts
These enclosures are IP54 rated as standard, with select ranges such as the PB Series available with an optional sealing gasket for IP65 protection where extra resistance to dust and moisture is needed.
Ready to Configure for Your Project
Most ranges are held ex stock and can be CNC machined and customised with labelling, screen and digital printing and RFI/EMI shielding. They’re widely specified for industrial and field testing equipment such as multimeters, gas detectors, test, measurement and building management applications.
