ERB76O Protective Boot

The ERB76O is a protective rubber boot designed to protect our EVAM handheld enclosures. The enclosure boot is designed to encapsulate the enclosure increasing its protection against impact when the unit is dropped or struck. The bright colour increases visibility of the unit preventing loss and accidental damage in busy environments.

EVAM Enclosure.
The EVAM series handheld enclosure are suitable for housing mobile control devices and data collection units. The enclosure is moulded in ABS material and the rugged design ensures the enclosure will stand up to impact. An optional gasket is available and this will create an IP65 rating helping to prevent water and dust ingress.

This model has a battery cover on the back of the enclosure capable of housing 2 x AA, 2 x 9V, 1 x 9V and 4 x AA battery compartments. The front face of the handheld enclosure has a recessed area suitable for membrane keypads measuring 138 x 81 x 2mm. PCB mounts are situated in both the top and base of the unit allowing the user to mount more than one PCB.
